The Teaching for Learning Network (http://www.tfln.org) supports evidence-informed and participatory research designed to improve student learning experiences at the Universities of Cambridge and MIT.
We are holding an event celebrating the first year of the Teaching for Learning Network on Tuesday 23 October from 5 - 7-30pm in the Fisher Building, St John's College, Cambridge.
A short presentation by members of TfLN will be followed by a keynote address by Professor Mary James of the Faculty of Culture and Pedagogy at the Institute of Education, who will draw on her experience as Deputy Director of the ESRC Teaching and Learning Research Programme in a discussion of the role of research evidence in the development of educational practice.
This will be followed by a drinks reception and poster display of the work of TfLN and associated projects, providing you with an opportunity to speak to members of the network and to meet others involved in research and developing teaching and learning in the Cambridge University context and more broadly.
If you would like to attend, please register by Monday 8 October.
