This meeting, organised by the Cambridge-MIT Institute and Imperial College London, will bring together a strong group of participants from a variety of companies and public bodies.
They will discuss how they might collaborate so as to enhance the value of data they own, what tools they need, and what imaginative applications they might envisage.
We have in mind the creation of a new Data Value Laboratory. This will be a forum for the birth of collaborative projects to add value to data by combining them with other data. It might also provide a synthetic environment with facilities for the development and testing of data federation tools and applications.
Attendance at this meeting is by invitation only. For further information, please contact Michael Simmons: m.p.simmons@dpmms.cam.ac.uk
